Celebrity hot spot RYS Hair & Beauty have launched a new concept – the 45 Minute Lunch Time Glow Up Beauty Circuit. This 3 part beauty circuit will prepare you for the day or afternoon ahead. Developed by Beauty Director and owner Reshma Shah, the beauty glow-up offers those busy individuals a little beauty pick me up.
The circuit includes:
● Eye Brow Tint and Threading
● Blow Out (Dry)
● File and Polish
My Experience:
My first impression when I walked in to RYS is that the salon was aesthetically minimalist and understated, very relaxed and genuinely friendly. Referred to online as “an oasis of calm in the heart of Chelsea” I can see why. They clearly have a commitment to cleanliness and comfort and as I was soon to discover – real results. I also noticed there was a space outside also, but possibly not in use while I was there.
As I was guided to my seat, I was offered me a drink from their extensive menu and introduced to my nail technician – Oksana. Side-note – recently I went to a local place to me and had what they called a luxury manicure/pedicure – which was in no way luxury.. the manicure was only a file and polish. Admittedly I could count the number of manicures I’ve had on one hand (excuse the pun) but I know the difference between a file and polish and a luxury manicure. This was the opposite experience. Oksana was attentive, caring, highly skilled and her attention to detail was absolutely astonishing. I felt so looked after, she worked fast – as after all this is an express treatment but you wouldn’t have known as the results were beautiful. I would definitely go back to her for any manicures in the future.
I forgo-ed the eye brow tint and thread – as I have quite fair eyebrows that I haven’t touched since the 90’s! The over to Alisson for my blow-dry. Alisson has a very relaxed and friendly vibe but is also passionate about what he does – duped “the king of balayage” he knows A LOT about hair! He gave me so many tips and insights into what my hair needs – more so than any other hairdresser I have used. He knows the science of the hair and has a lot of experience and a loyal following.

The salon also offers reflexology and acupuncture – so I will be revisiting for these!
It’s a one-stop hair and beauty shop with a lot extra. A memorable experience and I can’t wait to return to discover more they have to offer. I don’t live locally, but I will still make the journey to reap the benefits!
