There will be over 100 different food stalls showcasing their products, marketplace traders selling their goods for the consumer to purchase that day to take home with them and a Kids Zone full of entertainment for the children to enjoy.

We want the consumer to be able to walk around the show and to sample all the different cuisines on offer and to browse & shop at the many different marketplace traders on show. With this in mind the Surrey Food Festival will bring a family feel to this event by having a Kids Zone where the children can enjoy a number of inflatables and rides. These will be priced at £2 a go for 5 minutes.
On the main stage there will be a number of acts performing to the public throughout the day while you sit and relax in our seating area enjoying the vast array of different cuisines on offer. There will also be a number of different bars offering various beverages ranging from Champagne to branded larger for everyone to sit and enjoy.
We can only allow guide dogs into this event and must be kept on a lead at all times.
So, if you love your food and drink the Surrey Food Festival is the place to be!

Join the Mayor of Richmond for a scenic cruise aboard the Southern Belle along the Thames from St Helena Pier, Richmond. Tickets are just £25, this includes a Fish and Chip supper and a complimentary drink on arrival. The cruise will board at St Helena Pier, Richmond at 6pm, depart at 6:30pm and return at approx 9:45pm.

Booking has just opened for the 25th Richmond May Ball and tickets are already selling fast.
Another glamorous evening raising money for deserving locally-based charities is promised on Friday 11th May.
This year's Richmond May Ball will be in support of three wonderful charities:
•HomeStart supports disadvantaged families with young children
•Momentum enhances the life of young people with cancer
•My Life Films creates unique films for people with dementia
This major social event in the Richmond diary is celebrating a silver occasion. Since its inception as a curtain raiser to the annual Richmond May Fair the May Ball has gone from strength to strength. For many years it was supported by patrons Lord and Lady Attenborough, joined by many other local celebrities who generously gave their time and backing to what is now the premier social event in the Richmond calendar.
This year will be no less spectacular with a fabulous four course dinner and dancing
to an energetic live band that gets everybody on their feet.
The regular guests already know to turn up promptly at 7.00 pm, to enjoy a free ride on the
Heritage Carousel and get in the swing with an enjoyable pre-dinner champagne reception followed throughout the entire evening by Richmond’s very own highly acclaimed chic boutique hotel, The Bingham, which will be dispensing delicious refreshments from their cool cocktail bar within the marquee.
In addition to The Bingham, we are very grateful to Banham, Be Richmond, Berkeley Homes, Featherstone Leigh, Handelsbanken and Knight Frank for sponsoring this year’s Ball. As in previous years, our many generous
donors and contributors will ensure we have a tempting selection of auction and raffle prizes for everyone to enjoy.
