A good pair of kitchen scissors is essential, and I’ve discovered a brilliant pair from Deer & Oak…and the handles are made from recycled coffee grounds!

Porridge, is of course part of the three bears story, and there is a German oat brand that’s appropriately called 3Bears.

If you’re into energy drinks, then this one is definitely for you: Tenzing has launched the UK’s first natural energy drink crafted to power people through winter – Fiery Mango.

And while we’re on the subject of fiery flavours, we love the Gran Luchito range of Mexican foods and spices.
It has everything needed to bring the vibrant taste of Mexico straight to our kitchens. From Soft Taco Wraps to hold your chosen fillings, to crunchy Tortilla Chips and tasty Salsas, sauces and pastes, they are a great standby.

Chardonnay Time with Bridget Jones
I haven’t seen the latest Bridget Jones film yet, launched last weekend, but fully intend to very soon.
Bridget is synonymous with Chardonnay, so in the meantime, I had a very pleasurable journey down a ‘vinous memory lane’ this week, when I had some of this delicious Dark Horse Chardonnay.
It’s a rich Chardonnay with notes of baked apple and ripe stone fruit, layered with buttery notes of toasted oak, but still with refreshingly crisp acidity, culminating in a smooth, lingering finish.
Around £10 a bottle from Tesco and other major retailers.
