It’s all happening in the Richmond and Twickers area!
Rosa’s Thai comes to Town
Rosa’s Thai will open the doors to its newest restaurant in Richmond on Monday 18th March.
To celebrate, there’s a soft opening where guests will have 50% off the food bill during its pre-opening period from Tuesday 5th to Sunday 17th March inclusive.
An ideal spot for lunch or dinner, Rosa’s will bring vibrant Thai cooking to Richmond, with dishes made freshly to order, including spicy drunken noodles, fragrant ‘som tum’ papaya salad and, of course, pad thai.
Guests can also enjoy Rosa’s Thai-inspired cocktails from dragon star martinis to chilli lageritas, as well as their signature range of bubble teas.
Thai first opened in Spitalfields back in 2008, transporting co-founder Saiphin Moore’s authentic Thai cooking from the East to the East End of London.
The teams at each site use the best Thai produce, including curry pastes from a husband and wife team in the Huai Yod district and noodles from a 3rd generation family business.
Now with 39 restaurants across the UK, guests at Rosa’s can expect Bangkok cafe-inspired interiors, flavourful cooking and warm, friendly service.
Bookings are now open online.
Vivek Singh takes Carluccio’s site
Cinnamon Bazaar Richmond takes inspiration from the hustle and bustle of India’s ancient and modern bazaars, where you can expect a menu that packs a punch with spiced sharing plates, signature sips and an iconic roaming chaat trolley.
Vivek Singh, the man behind some of London’s most popular Indian restaurants, including The Cinnamon Club and Cinnamon Kitchen, is bringing Cinnamon Bazaar to Richmond from early March in the site that was occupied for many years by Carluccio’s.
From a Bazaar breakfast with spiced eggs, through to a roaming chaat trolley, vibrant sharing plates and spiced cocktails, this is modern Indian dining that packs a flavoursome punch.
Cinnamon Bazaar Richmond’s menu, will run from breakfast through to dinner and features pan-Indian, street food style dishes, along with a new innovative range of vegan friendly plates, that blend modern cultural influences with classic spices and flavours.
And Some Other Tasty Titbits
apparently Ottolenghi is to open a deli and restaurant in the old And So to Bed site near the Odeon – very exciting news for Ottolenghi fans like me.
has it that Sticks’n’Sushi is going to be opening soon in the old House of Fraser building, but we don’t yet have an opening timescale.
And Megan’s will soon be opening in Twickers (in May I believe) but in the meantime, you can sign up for the soft opening and see more info and the menu on the link here.
And there is already a thriving branch in Richmond, don’t forget.
Goodbye Fat Badger – it was fun while it Lasted!
